Students Services

STI offers the following school services to complement the academic formation of its students. The objectives of each service are:


Guidance Office

To conduct individual and group counseling and assistance with behavior management issues and learning problems.

To focus on fostering positive human change to enable effective learning and teaching by enforcing discipline among studentry.

To help students deal with various personal, educational and career concerns, such as learning difficulties, educational and career plans and choices, and personal and social development.


Student Records

To maintain accurate student academic and financial records and preserve the confidentiality and ethical standing of these records.

To maintain all official student records, the administration of registration activities, the distribution of class schedule confirmations, grade reports, and graduation/diploma related services.


Laboratory

To provide the means and the necessary assistance so that students can use the laboratory facilities, equipment, and technology required by their programs.

To provide computing services to students in support of the organization's teaching and research missions.


Library

To provide students access to books, journals, and other informative materials.

To serve as the instructional materials resource center that sources, screens, acquires, organizes, and circulates print and non-print reference materials.


Physical Education

To help students develop skills in physical activities that will enable them to promote their personal fitness, maintain health, build morale, and establish an interest in future recreational activities.

To provide safe and functional athletic environments both indoors and outdoors.

To foster harmonious development of student's mental, emotional, and physical well being.


Clinic

To provide a process to address medically related health and safety issue and address request by parents and physicians that the school provide appropriate health procedures to allow students to remain in school and increase opportunities for academic success.

To promote and improve health, learning, and overall well being of students.

To offer first-aid treatment and consultation, free starter dose of medication, and free referrals in cases that require further examination or treatment.


School Canteen

To provide a variety of nutritious ad attractively presentable food and drinks at reasonable costs.

To make positive, worthwhile contribution to students' health and welfare and educate them about nutrition.


Alumni

To provide the alumni job placement assistance and updated information on personal and career development.

To foster community among alumni and pride in their alma mater, promote the achievements of alumni and their connections.

To inform them about the activities, services and programs sponsored by the Alumni Association to cultivate support for the official decisions, plans, and policies of the school's administration.

Earn While You Learn Program

To provide financial support to students who want to continue their studies by assisting them in finding work and earn for their living allowance and tuition.

To instill in the students self-discipline and perseverance so that they can pursue part-time job in business corporations.
